ADEA Plenary Sepaker
With over 20 years of clinical experience in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health across various levels and regions in Australia, Professor Taylor's career began as an Indigenous health worker in his home community of Mer Island in the mid-1990s. His academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Nursing Science, a Graduate Certificate in Health: Diabetes Management & Education, a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours), and a Doctor of Public Health from James Cook University.
As Director of the Onemda Centre, Sean utilises his extensive research, leadership, and health sector experience to enhance our leadership in Indigenous health. Two key components of this is convening Indigenous health services and peak body groups, and uplifting the next generation of Indigenous health professionals.
