The Australasian Diabetes Congress 2020 will be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, Merivale St & Glenelg Street in South Brisbane. Located in the South Bank precinct and on the banks of the Brisbane River, it’s the city’s green oasis and the hub for cultural and entertainment activities offering wide appeal for delegates to mix with the locals and enjoy this unique inner-city riverside precinct. South Bank has more than 70 sidewalk cafes & restaurants, riverside walkways, cycle paths and ferries to cruise the Brisbane River.

Getting to BCEC

The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre has two entrances, one on Grey Street and our main entrance on the corner of Merivale & Glenelg Streets.

Car Parking

Public Transport

Taxi
Taxi ranks are located outside the main entrance to the Centre on Merivale Street and a taxi drop off located at the Convention Centre Grey Street entrance.

From Brisbane Airport
Both Brisbane domestic and international airports are 30 minute drive from the Centre. The AirTrain connects South Brisbane station to Brisbane’s international and domestic airports with stops in the Brisbane CBD and Fortitude Valley.
